Mrs Carole Claridge

Carole is a Finance Manager with particular responsibility for the one form entry primary schools (Good Shepherd, St Gregory’s, St Patrick’s and Ss Peter and Paul) and Cardinal Wiseman.  Her role is to ensure an efficient and timely finance operation to support schools and ensure compliance, including regular reporting and analysis to principals and other key decision makers.


Carole’s finance career spans over 25 years, initially completing her CIMA accountancy training within the corporate sector, before moving across to the charity sector. More recently she worked at St Gregory’s supporting finance (with an exciting foray into the classroom to support KS2 maths). She has 4 children, all educated at St Gregory’s. Her faith, her experience at St Gregory’s and in charities with a particular focus on disadvantaged youth, have led to a desire to use her skills to support Romero in its vision to be a “beacon of excellence in Catholic education”.
