Mrs Megan Scullion

Megan began working for the Romero Catholic Academy in September 2017 as KS2 Leading Practitioner. Prior to this, she worked at another School within Coventry for 5 years, where she taught and lead Upper Key Stage Two, as well as lead the English Curriculum there.

In her current role as Leading Practitioner for KS2, Megan is required to support our seven primary schools with all aspects of teaching and learning. Within this role, she supports staff with the planning and delivery of the Primary Curriculum and helps to create the best possible learning opportunities and experiences for the children in our schools. Megan is passionate about ensuring that all children who attend our Romero schools have an education of the highest quality and that every child who is in our care has the ability and experiences required to allow them to reach their full potential, whether that be academically, spiritually or socially.

Megan also works as an English SLE and provides training and school to school support through the Blue Sky Teaching School. She also supports the Local Authority Moderation Team in her role as a KS2 writing moderator.

Having attended St Gregory’s and Cardinal Wiseman herself as a child, Megan is very passionate about the work that the Romero Academy does and enjoys working within the Academy to help support it to achieve its vision and truly nurture the talent of tomorrow.
